Holiday Program
For over 50 years, the annual STEAC Holiday Program has brought community members together to help provide gifts and food to low-income Davis families and individuals in need. Volunteers are needed October through December to help with a variety of tasks that range from distributing flyers, helping with client applications, helping with set-up and break-down of the “Big Day” and more.
Community members have the opportunity to provide gifts and food to a family or individual in need by signing up to become an “adopter.” Over 400 families were “adopted” in 2023, which means over 400 families and individuals were able to celebrate the holiday season thanks to our generous volunteers and donors. Applications to become an adopter open in mid-October.
